EALs-Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants

Clarity Synthetic EA Grease – Environmentally acceptable grease
Clarity Synthetic EA Hydraulic Oil – Environmentally sensitive lubricant
Clarity Synthetic EA Gear Oil – Environmentally sensitive gear oill

Clarity® Synthetic EA Grease
Environmentally acceptable grease

Clarity® Synthetic EA Grease is an anhydrous calcium thickened lubricating grease based on biodegradable esters.
The grease contains antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors, and EP/AW additives.
The thickener, together with the biodegradable esters, makes the product suitable for lubrication of heavily loaded applications.
The lubricating grease has excellent adhesion and water resistance.

Chevron Clarity Synthetic EA Grease is readily biodegradable, has excellent water resistance, good corrosion resistance and is excellent for extreme pressure and heavy loads.
It is compliant to 2013 VGP legislation and the Swedish Standard 155470. It is pumpable in most modern centralized lubrication systems.

Clarity® Synthetic EA Hydraulic Oil
Environmentally sensitive lubricant

Clarity® Synthetic EA Hydraulic Oils1 are readily biodegradable high performance hydraulic oils that meet EPA Vessel General Permit (VGP) requirements for environmentally acceptable lubricants.
These lubricants are non-bioaccumulative and minimally toxic.
In the event of a spill, the product biodegrades by more than 60% within 28 days, minimizing the impact to the environment.
Clarity Synthetic EA Hydraulic Oils are designed to give maximum protection in hydraulic equipment used in vessels and in both mobile and stationary hydraulic pumps in high-performance industrial applications.
Clarity Synthetic EA Hydraulic Oils are formulated with synthetic base stock and an ashless, zinc-free additive system that provide exceptional oxidation stability, water separability, foam suppression, and protection against wear, rust and corrosion.
Synthetic EA Hydraulic Oils are high VI synthetic products which allow for operation over a wide temperature range.

Clarity Synthetic EA Hydraulic Oils are designed to the performance requirements of conventional antiwear hydraulic oils, while providing an additional benefit in case of leaks or incidental discharge to the environment.
Clarity Synthetic EA Hydraulic Oils ISO 68 and 100 are recommended for use in marine stern tube applications

Clarity® Synthetic EA Gear Oils
Environmentally sensitive lubricant

Clarity® Synthetic EA Gear Oil* is a readily biodegradable high performance gear oil that meets EPA Vessel General Permit (VGP) requirements for environmentally acceptable lubricants.
It is designed to give maximum protection in industrial gear applications on vessels and in environmentally sensitive areas.
This lubricant is non-bioaccumulative and minimally toxic. In the event of a spill, the product biodegrades by more than 60% within 28 days, minimizing the impact to the environment.
Clarity Synthetic EA Gear Oil is designed to give maximum protection in marine gear equipment used in applications requiring a high performance gear oil and which have environmental concerns such as off-shore marine or Oil and Gas, construction in or near water, mining and power utility operations, as well as other high-performance industrial applications.
Clarity Synthetic EA Gear Oil is formulated with synthetic base stock and an ashless, zinc-free additive system that provides exceptional oxidation stability, water separability, foam suppression, and protection against wear, rust and corrosion.

Clarity Synthetic EA Gear Oil is a high VI synthetic product which allows for operation over a wide temperature range.
Clarity Synthetic EA Gear Oil is designed to the performance requirements of conventional antiwear/extreme pressure gear oils, while providing an additional benefit in case of leaks or incidental discharge to the environment.
