Marine Compressor Oils

Capella HFC, Capella WF, Cetus EliteSyn MGX,Cetus DE, Cetus PAG, Cetus PAO, Capella A68, Capella Low Temp AB 68, Cetus VDL 100

Capella® A is a premium synthetic compressor oil specifically designed for the lubrication of ammonia refrigeration compressors operating at high discharge temperatures in systems with extremely low evaporator temperatures.
Capella® A is formulated from specially synthesized polyalphaolefin (PAO) base fluids.

Capella® HFC is a premium-grade, fully synthetic oil for the lubrication of compressors used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Capella HFC is blended exclusively with specially selected polyolesters. It has a high viscosity index ensuring a good lubricity over a wide temperature range.

Capella Low Temp AB 68

Capella® Low Temp AB is a synthetic refrigeration compressor oil based on alkylbenzene components of the branched type.
The product is recommended for use with ammonia (R717) and systems using older chlorofluoro- and hydrochlorofluorocarbon (CFCs & HCFCs — freon) refrigerants.
It is suitable for various temperatures, including installations with very low evaporating temperatures, where mineral based products are no longer present.

Capella® WF is a high-quality essentially wax-free oil for the lubrication of compressors used in refrigeration and airconditioning systems. The product series are recommended for use with ammonia, carbon dioxide and halogenated refrigerants.

Cetus VDL 100

Formerly Compressor EP VDL 100

Cetus® VDL formulated with VARTECH™ Technology are a range of high-performance compressor lubricants, blended with high quality paraffinic base oils and an additive system designed to promote oxidation resistance, corrosion protection and a robust varnish deposit control performance. They are especially designed for air compressors, especially portable and stationary rotary, vane, screw and piston compressors.

Cetus VDL delivers stable high temperature oxidation resistance and is designed for reduced deposit formation on rotary screw and piston compressors. Its advanced formulation provides robust corrosion protection, foam inhibition, and extreme pressure performance to ensure reliable performance throughout its service life.

Cetus VDL provides demulsibility performance and helps to minimize entrained air, which could otherwise result in reduced lubricant film thickness and potentially lead to pump cavitation.

Cetus® DE 100 is a premium performance, synthetic compressor oil based on diester technology. This offers outstanding thermal and oxidative stability with an effective oil film to protect loaded parts against corrosion and wear, even in case of high discharge temperatures and pressures. This advanced formulation also offers good low temperature performance and energy saving properties.

Cetus EliteSyn MGX

Cetus EliteSyn MGX is recommended for:
– Lubrication of turbochargers in marine diesel engines.
– Single-stage and multi-stage reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, and oil flooded screw compressors including stationary, semi-portable and portable units.
– Air, compressed natural gas (CNG), landfill gas and inert gas.

Not recommended for use in breathing air compressors.

Cetus PAO 46, 68

Cetus® PAO oils are synthetic compressor lubricants formulated with the highest-quality polyalphaolefin PAO base fluid.
The PAO base fluid provides thermal and oxidation stability, high viscosity index, low pour point and good hydrolytic stability.
A high-performance additive package further enhances these qualities.
The products are designed to meet the requirements of compact, high output rotary air compressors where mineral products are not effective any longer and make an ideal choice for large diesel engine turbocharger applications as well.
